How we work, in public
Every policy that governs our newsroom is published. Nothing is internal only, nothing is aspirational. If we fall short of it, we say so on the record.
Corrections Log
We log every correction in public, most recent first, with the date and the change. We do not quietly edit a published story or remove a page from the record.
A fares dispatch gave a quarter-on-quarter figure as year-on-year. The number and the framing were corrected, and the change noted at the foot of the story.
An entry-rule report misstated the length of a visa-free stay by ten days. The figure was corrected against the official gazette.
A dispatch misspelled the name of a regional airport. The spelling was fixed and the dateline left unchanged.
